Affiliate disclosure

Japanese Knife Index is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy something, the shop pays us a commission. You pay the same price.

Which links are affiliate links

Affiliate links appear only in each maker's “Where to buy & price” table and are labelled Affiliate link next to the button. They are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines. At present our only affiliate partner is Hocho Knife (hocho-knife.com). Links to all other shops carry no affiliate ID and earn us nothing.

What it does not change

Commissions never decide which makers we list, what we write about them, or the order of shops. Shops are ordered by number of listings. No shop or maker pays for placement or ranking.
